In this crazy world of dating and relationships, there are many questions that we strive to find an answer for. One of those questions, particularly for men, is if the woman is interested in them during a first date. Unfortunately, we will sometimes leave a date feeling excited, only to see our texts or calls get ignored the day after, and ignored again the day after that.
The obvious sign of interest is a goodnight kiss to end the date, but if the kiss is not there, how can we verify her interest level? There are many strategies that you can choose to utilize, but one strategy that you may have not thought about involves the parking lot. More specifically, the exact location of where you park. The location of your parking spot could significantly ease your confusion. When you arrive at the agreed upon location, possibly a restaurant, bar, or coffee shop, you are likely going to find the closest parking spot available. Don’t do this! Instead, drive to the very end of the parking lot to find your parking space. Do you see a parking spot that is almost 200 yards from the restaurant? Perfect! Take that spot! As you are parking your car in another zip code, your date is likely parking in much closer proximity to the restaurant. This will work out in your favor if she is interested in you. So, fast forward to the end of your date. You paid the bill and now you are both exiting the restaurant together. You feel like everything went well and you are already thinking about a second date with her, but you are very uncertain about what she is thinking. Does she want to see you again? Or does she want to quickly drive home and immediately block you from viewing her online dating profile ever again? You may figure the answer to this question as you are standing outside the restaurant. Tell her that you are glad you parked far away because you need to go for a long walk to burn off those calories from all that food (or drinks) that you had. In response, she will likely say something like “You parked far away? Where is your car??” You then advise her that your car is parked several hundred yards away from the restaurant. The woman, who most likely is parked MUCH closer, will then clear up your confusion about her interest level. If she is not interested in you, she will give you a light/fake chuckle and wish you the best of luck on your long walk to your car. If she IS interested, there is a very high chance she will say something like “Oh my gosh, you parked way over there? Here, let me give you a ride to your car!” Listen, if this woman has no interest in seeing you again, then there is no chance in hell that she is going to invite you inside her car! She would be making you walk with no hesitation! The only possible exception to this assumption would be if there was inclement weather and she didn’t want you to get soaked regardless of her interest in dating you. If you are invited inside her car, you have done well, sir! An added bonus to this strategy is that you two will be alone in her car, which gives you more privacy for an intimate kiss to end the night without having to worry about people watching you and/or walking by you. Just don’t be too pushy by attempting to go back to your high school days of heaving groping in your friend’s old Chevrolet Impala. She has trusted you to be alone inside her car on the first day of meeting you, so be respectful in your actions and make her feel as safe as possible! Try this strategy out! If the strategy works, then you get a free ride from a woman who likely wants to see you again. If it does not work, then you get some good exercise to end the evening! Just don’t park so far away that you forget where your car is!
